O projektu 

Projekt vznikl v roce 2013 a byl nejprve směřován na propagaci kulturního dědictví nám historicky nejbližších zemí - tedy zemí SLOVANSKÝCH. Impulsem bylo světové výročí UNESCO, které v roce 2013 bylo věnováno 1150. výročí příchodu Cyrila a Metoděje na Velkou Moravu a vzniku prvního písma - základu naší i slovanské kultury a vzdělanosti. V průběhu dalších let se postupně víkendový festival změnil na akci několika měsíční, současně přirozeně rostl i počet měst a krajů. Současně se upřesňoval i samotný obsah kulturní nabídky i aktivní spolupráce s domácími i zahraničními kulturními institucemi. 

V roce 2021 došlo z zásadnímu kvalitativnímu i kvantitativnímu posunu celého projektu. Projekt se stal CELOSTÁTNÍ, CELOROČNÍ a současně nabídl prezentaci ČTYŘ ZEMÍ  jejich kulturního dědictví. Upřesnil se i obsah hlavních výstav a výraznější propagace světových seznamů UNESCO i historie vzájemných kulturních a společenských vztahů. Přirozeně se rozšířila i spolupráce s menšinami, ale i krajany a mezinárodními institucemi. Významná je i cílená podpora a propagace aktivního partnerství českých měst s příslušnými městy zahraničními.  Nakonec se  změnil i název a původní název projektu Dny slovanské kultury (www.dny-slovanske-kultury.webnode.cz) se od roku 2021 jmenuje KULTURNÍ DĚDICTVÍ UNESCO (www.cultural-heritage.cz)

About project 

The project was created in 2013 and was initially aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of the countries that are historically closest to us - i.e. the Slavic countries. The impetus was the UNESCO World Anniversary, which in 2013 was dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of the arrival of Cyril and Methodius in Great Moravia and the creation of the first writing - the foundation of our and Slavic culture and education. In the course of the following years, the weekend festival gradually changed into a multi-month event, while the number of cities and regions naturally grew. At the same time, the content of the cultural offer itself and the active cooperation with domestic and foreign cultural institutions were refined.

In 2021, the project underwent a major qualitative and quantitative shift. The project became a FULL-SCALE, YEAR-ROUND project and at the same time offered a presentation of FOUR COUNTRIES of their cultural heritage. The content of the main exhibitions and the more prominent promotion of the UNESCO World Lists and the history of mutual cultural and social relations were also refined. Cooperation with minorities, as well as with compatriots and international institutions, has naturally expanded. Targeted support and promotion of active partnerships between Czech cities and their foreign counterparts is also important. Finally, the name of the project has changed and the original name of the project Days of Slavic Culture (www.dny-slovanske-kultury.webnode.cz) will be called UNESCO CULTURAL HERITAGE (www.cultural-heritage.cz) from 2021.
